Hey i was just wondering how long will the pre order option be up for?

I would assume until the game launches April 4th, you would just miss out on head start time if you ordered later than March 31st though.

Correct. However the sooner you order, the more chance you have of being guaranteed a copy before they run out of stock. If you're on the fence with the game however, I'd leave off until you've seen some footage or been in beta ^^

Well you might have to wait on a physical copy, but the moment you get the CD key, you just update the game and play, the box is a novelty disk really, since I'd wager a simple 24 hours after the game release there will be a minor patch for the release bugs that never fail to exist. Making owning the disk useless. So only thing he'd miss out on would be the early start and maybe the statue if he paid for the retail version.
