Guys i need help.I un-installed the game(for disk space) and now i want to install it agian.BUT i'm doing it from the disk. I put the disk in, start the installation and when it's done steam starts downloading Skyrim.

So because of that i can't playe because steam thinks it's an uptade.I tried to check the integrity of the game and it does not help.Any tips or ideas ?

I know it needs to download files and such, but steam wants to download over 5 GB. That's almost the whole game! At least most of it.And whit my internet connection it's going to take a looong time.

Do you have the official High Resolution Texture Pack from Steam tied to your account? If yes, Steam will download it every time you reinstall the game. These 3 files are over 4GB together.

The only way to remove the official texture pack form downloading every time you install the game, is to contact Steam Support and have them remove it form your account.

I don't have it

I think i got the thing that causes this problem.

There is 2 disks that are needed to install the game right? right. But steam only asks for one. and when i insert the 2nd disk a folder pops up whit the files that i can't open whit any program i know.If that's not the case then don't know.

Strange a have the Legendary edition but i have one disc. !!!!!!
