Are we still allowed to talk about what press had said or would that still be NDA violation?

well, if you arent gaming press, and arent writing an article in that capacity, I would say no

You still may not discuss the beta or anything you find out in the beta that isn't in any reviews or official releases. That NDA remains in effect.

If you are in the beta, you better mind your NDA limitations, because you can still get kicked out if you say too much. And, yes, people will be kicked out of the beta for breaking the NDA. Use the thread linked above, and be real careful about what you talk about.
