Thank you for taking the time to read a post that you have probally seen a million of, but I just cannot find a post or article that gives a straight answer.

Can you play as any race on any alliance without pre purchasing the game? This question doesn't really apply to me, as I've already ordered the CE, but still, I would like to know.
