Thank you Morrowind Modders...

After a long break from Morrowind, I've just reinstalled the game on my new PC, and I've totally forgotten how beautiful the world looks, thanks to the efforts of fellow modders.

So, from this "old timer", BIG thanks to old and new modders alike. Keep that flame burning!

I've never beaten the game. I've been playing it since 2003.

lol

All my joy comes from the modding tweaks. I've NEVER played vanilla morrowind even halfway through. In fact, I haven't progressed the main quest past the dwemer ruin (first blade mission).

Same goes for Skyrim. I played vanilla skyrim... I beat every single side quest available (except for the respawning quests)... but I still haven't returned a dragon stone to the guy for my first official mission. I was level 79 and hadn't even began the main quest loool

Literally the farthest I've ever played an elder scrolls game was Oblivion. I got maybe a quarter way through it.

Lmao! I realize how pathetic that sounds but in all honesty, the mods are the only things I love playing with.

No modding community -- I wouldn't buy the games.

Totally agree. Haha really the only reason I play through the main quest is to see how other mods have spruced it up/made improvements to it (Julan, Less Generic Nerevarine, etc.).

Antares even did an awesome entire revamp of the Tribunal main quest, and Trainwiz the entire Clockwork City! If only we could get Darknut back on here to continue his GDR series...
