My last thread didn’t attract much interest for some reason. It almost made me feel like it was my imagination.

Anyway, have provided more detail on the quests I can’t seem to revive if you will (I do have floating markers set in settings).

Unable to pinpoint location on map (even though you can highlight them in log)

In my time of need (find the rearguard woman)

No stone unturned (recover stone of Barenzias)

Miscellaneous (read Eltry’s note, get 3 flawless amethysts, Bring one amulet....).

In addition to these side quests I also have the following open and these are working normally:

Loud and Clear

I am working on the Elder Knowledge main quest.

I can’t believe I have too many quests open. To reiterate what happens is that, even though you can toggle them active but when you try and find the location on the map-zilch, no response. If you deactivate the quests that are shown on the map then you get no locations shown for any of these even though you toggle them active.

Bit desperate now so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For your first set, those are the ones you find by yourself. You can use the UESP on all of them if you're really having that much trouble.

1- Look for a Redguard woman. You received that quest in Whiterun. So look for Redguard women in Whiterun.

2- Those are scattered around throughout Skyrim. You can also use the uesp for the locations.

3- Sounds like you need to read the note, looks like you need to get your hands on the Flawless Amethysts, and whatever that last one is.

they don't have quest markers. you have to search for them.

the note is in your inventory

find any 3 flawless amethysts

find any random amulet of arkay and take it to the guy in windhelm.
