What's good about Elder Scrolls Online :)

1. There is only one starting location for all the races.

2. Only one island to quest on for all races after starting location.

3. Every race has same /dance and fighting animations. So you won't be confused when starting a new race. It's all familiar animations.

4. All races run the same way. So don't worry about they ruining your favorite 1 running style when changing race.

Now its your turn. From the official gameplay videos is your feeling?

1&2 are technically wrong. 3&4 I don't really care about.

I like the environments.

I have a hard time putting my finger on what the good sides of a game are, especially considering I've not played it. But there's just something I enjoy about watching the videos and hoping to experience it for myself. I'm going to get it on release so people are going to have a tough time putting me off it, and if I don't like it, I don't have to pay the sub fee. But for the sake of this thread,

Based on what I've seen, these are the only flaws that have surfaced next to combat having no weight. I'm losing my hype and seeing the game's true colours, but I'm still satisfied nontheless. If this game lasts me longer than a weekend, it's already beginning to look good.

1. Doesn't bother me (unless it's too lengthy), once you know how the game works you can just run through it and it's just a necessary evil that doesn't last very long.
2. There's one starting area (except for coldharbour, mentioned in #1) per alliance, making it 3 different areas and afaik they are quite big so.. I don't think that'll be a problem.
3. The emotes I don't care about. However I do care about the fighting animations because you'll spend most time fighting and being focused on said fight.
4. Well.. once again, I'm either gonna spend my time in 1st person or 3rd.. looking from 1st I can avoid it, but it's terrible in areas clustered with monsters/npcs/other players. Looking from 3rd person, meeeh, I don't wanna see the same animations again and again even if I chose a different race. Maybe one can avoid it by constantly changing from 1st to 3rd person view?

There's a lot of good stuff I would love to say, but I cannot because NDA.

What I can say is you are largely mistaken.

1&2 kind of svck but seeing as it's a big game that your supposed to level up and unlock things gradually I can see the starting area/island lasting me a while and I do belive once you hit a certain level the other factions home continents do open up so it's like starting of with a small pice of cake then a bigger slice until you eventually get the whole cake ;)

1 & 2 aren't true at all, just FYI. Each alliance has its own starting area and they are completely different from each other. This is public knowledge.
