The Desert and the Apocalypse

Is there any chance a little DLC might come out with some kind of seasonal system.

I over heard a NCR soldier say something like "Its days like this i wish for a nuclear winter".

I would love to see the wasteland covered in snow or even (seeing this from a certain FO3 Machinima) ACID RAIN.

Most probably wont happen but what a cool idea i believe why not make the immersion feel more intense.

Having to find shelter while the Acid rain falls that would be great :)

What you guys think??

They would definitely add weather if they could. I think the engine CAN it just makes the game incredibly laggy.

Wow...never thought about weather changes....I like that.. rain, sleet, snow, maybe a sandstorm, maybe a tornado once in a while!!

Having rain doesn't tax the game very much at all, you know. "Obsolete" engine? There's a mod for Fallout 3 that adds epic thunderstorms. With an option for "acid rain".

So, make sure you have the game on PC, then convince whoever made that mod to port it to FNV. Or consider making a sand storm effect instead (and we had that back in Morrowind, so let's not have any more "game couldn't handle it" nonsense)

A seasonal system would be amazing. I don't mean for New Vegas however, because it would probably need a new engine. But that's also not a bad thing because it would also give Obsidian and Bethesda some time to fix alot of things and improve upon the game, but this would also require the date to be pushed further back.(Something completely bearable)
