Damn, I should be more confidant in my mods, I had couple of longswords made of keening for years on my pc but thought no one would like them :P Guess I was wrong.

Great work Alaisiagae, I especially like the axe, looks great! :goodjob:

Well, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2173 aren't exactly a new idea ;P

Still, the weapons are interesting, though I have to admit I'm curious, how a keening-staff would look like ;)

I know I replied in my thread too - but I had to say again how much I absolutely love these - especially the spear! (I mean, the lack of spears is the whole reason I begin my uh.. modding adventure.) And these are EXACTLY what I had in mind for the artifact exchange mod. Thanks so much for releasing them!

Looks great, except that the texture on the longsword looks rather stretched out. Would it look strange if it were tiled instead?

EDIT: Ew, nevermind. Tried it for myself, it doesn't even work a little bit :brokencomputer:

Yes it would look strange, unless it was properly tiled... sorry that doesn't make much sense. The other keening longsword mods (one of which someone linked to) is tiled - like, the mesh blade length is chopped up into sections that all use the same texture... they way I know how to tile is just to stretch the UV map in Nifksope. If I did that with the crystal blade texture, there'd be that conspicuous shiny white blip everywhere.

But, hey, same stretching happens on all the glass swords, too.

Beautiful work.

Suggestion :hehe: : Uncap the blade of the axe. The metal part there topping off the blade would effectively interfere with the slicing advantage of swinging it in battle, imho.

I wouldn't mind having this as well as a mace if you're interested, Alaisiagae. I know blunt weapon users get Sunder, but that's a different artifact and I don't see why Keening can't be made into a blunt weapon as well. If the blade can be reforged into a spear head, it can be shaped into a mace head or a tip of a quarterstaff.

I know it wouldn't exactly work in this case, but wouldn't a mace that looked like a glass mace, but with a keening flare look awesome? Ya know, it's like a glass mace but got that blue crystal instead and a nice metalish look with a rustic color to it? :hubbahubba:

lol, anyways I thought I had posted here when this first came out, but I guess not. So I'll do it now!

Thanks for this fine resource. It's always nice to see more tools at people's fingers, and dwemer things have a lot of uses. Not to mention, who doesn't like keening? I know your very busy as I see you posting on a bunch of threads in between your releases, so it was very kind of you to take the time throw to something together for the community to use. :)
