I have been playing this game for months now, today when i reached near the citadel, i got people republic of America, when i switched the radio i heard a faint voive, when i upped the sttatic striken radio, I heard a women talking about how wall street gang where criminals etc... :confused:

Anybody know, or any mod to clear out that static ? Am kinda curious why there would be a radio station barly hearable even with a full volume, all voiced about something....

Radio signals get stronger (read: less crackle and static) the closer you get to them. Get closer to it. In this case, you might need to travel through a metro tunnel or two to get closer.

It's a weak signal. But it becomes very clear if you get close to it.

What is this peoples republic of America ? anybody know, is it some NCR type organization..maybe it is ? Maybe its an organization somewhere out there in America we don't know about....

In one of the random encounters you come across the body of a dead Chinese Commando ghoul and it has that signal, or something like it. There's a few of them still hanging around since after the war. There's also at least one spot where there's a bunch of them hanging out. It's a good place to stock up on .556 ammo.

I got the signal when i was near the citadle but there seems there to be no way ingame to find out which way to go to get closer to a radio signal.

You can hear more clearly in Arlington Cemetery. You have to go through a metro to get there. Flooded Metro, near Wilhelm's Warf is probably the simplest metro route.

Remember the "history" the US and Chinese war. That radio station is a Chinese Propaganda station trying to destroy the moral of the US by some Chinese infiltrators. Presumably it is recorded propaganda that just keeps looping.

Again, that one's called the Arlington/Wasteland Metro. Flooded Metro is off to the south, close to the bottom edge of the map.

I believe the metro I'm referring shows up on your map as Flooded Metro and leads to Arlington Cemetery.

There is another Flooded Metro down south which connects to the Mason District.
