Dialogue of Skyrim?

Well my opinion after reading around on this is that, wouldnt it be cool if it would be your voice? Like if you had a headset plugged in and an option for that on, you would choose your reply and it would ask you to say it and it would record you and then your character will say it to the NPC your talking to. To me that would be cool and stuff, but thats my opinion on that, Whats yours? :)?

I actually like the dialogue previously used. I don't mind a little improvement but not a revamp.

I don't like the idea of using my own voice.

That's an interesting idea, you'd need to incorporate voice identification software into skyrim which would be hard, but not all together imposable, could be a cool mod.

So, I choose a reply, record it and the character speaks, what is the friggin' point of this?! So, I am going to read, then say something and then listen to what I just said? It's easier when it's just reading it...

And having a mute character is way better for roleplaying purposes...

Why does a user who has been on this forums since 2008 posts something so redundant. Dude... lurk more.

Well, first off, yes i have been here since feb 2008, and? Im simply stating a oppinon/idea that may need improvement and may not be entirely un-bug like but which is why they are the devolopers and we aren't, they figure that out not us. And if you think its a stupid idea, thats why i said you have an option to it, in the options area. I myself think it'll be fun, as for you...just click the option off if it was there.

Its not a bad idea, but I don’t think it would work…at least not yet.

Text to voice programs sound wonky, even with all of the words prerecorded. Trying to synthesize your own voice to pronounce thousands of deferent words would probably sound even wonkier.
