NPC in the geck

So I accidentally plaed a npc named rangerandy in a interior cell of mine, so i deleted him, but for some odd reason, hes still in that cell when i test my game, and the object count shows there are 2 of him, but my object list has no npcs in that cell. How do I fix this?

Okay, I'll add to this. I took info from a cell interior and duplicated it for use in a new building, but for some reason this confused the geck into making the origional have a *. Is there a way I can restore a cell to its vanilla state? that would most likely fix my problem...
