Public Dungeon ? Why?

Urg, public dungeons, I remember Foreman's in AO, I could walk right from the entrance to the last boss, barely encountering an enemy there were so many high level people running through it. 100 people camping T.I.M, like a 3 hour spawn, dies within 5 seconds

Darkness Falls is a good example of how enjoyable a public dungeon can be. Shame that most condemn the idea without having experienced it.

Oh i would love that too, TES game are all about choice and freedom.

Yeah exactly my point, and this is ruining the entire game imho.

I don't think "revealing" the existance of public dungeons is against the nda. At least there some review footage where you can see ppl running around in the same public instance.

Immersion, story etc seem to be the favourite words for Zenimax. However, all this immersion and quest story stuff just bends over when you are playing the story of the quest in public dungeon and a group of players rushes past you and clears the way...great.. then you just walk to the corpse of the boss and pick up the book or whatever...

public dungeons are fine as long as they are too hard to be soloed. Then it's great to find other players from the dungeons to help you.

If quest related dungeons would be private instances, then they all could be scaled according the group/person entering the instance. Then you could have a challenge while questing with your friends. Now the public dungeons are just a walk in a park...

Oh i do not condemn public PvP/PvE dungeon like Darkness Fall.

What i condemn is a PvE dungeon (with max 10 mob in it) being public. If it was a huge dungeon (at least over 100 mobs) it would be ok, i think.

There is no need for a public dungeon at the start of the game, since they're so short.

There should be a choice where you can play a dungeon solo or in group.

There should be dungeon where you HAVE to be in a group.

And again i am talking about dungeon not the whole world ok?

I know it's a multiplayer game, but we SHOULD have the freedom to chose whether to group or not.

TES game are all about choice why ESO isn't?

Yep i totally agree

I meant fresh start of the server. Talking island ruins for example. Loads of players were there, it was even hard to kill one mob... Once first week was gone, dungeons were less populated, so it was fine. Also in L2 it was hard or practicaly impossible to solo these dungeons so its concept was fine. Only that sitting at one place and killing one room for hours. Damnn I have no idea how could I play it for so long :-D. TESO must be more story driven. I dont want to see myself rushing to get top level in no time. This needs to be about exploration, adventure and the feel of questing... But I am confident they will deliver game very close to my expectations. (lets face it, they cant make everyone 100% happy...) :-)

DF was the best dungeon ever created. Followed closely by PoC. If either of those 2 styles is in Cyrodil I will be hooked for years.
