What faction will you be PvPing for?

Post » Tue Feb 11, 2014 8:36 pm

With the stress test done, I've gotten my first taste of full scale PvP for ESO. I was absent for about the last hour, but it seemed like the factions scored fairly evenly, with Blue preforming well and taking the lead in the final hours.

My PvP experience however felt fairly Zergish from the Dominion side, and I was wondering if the other factions got the same feel?

Also, to all you PvPers out there, which faction do you plan on rolling? It'll be interesting to see if one faction pulls ahead to favor PvP.

Eh? what 'battlegroup' Ebon won outright in Scourge and maintained the lead the entire time.

But i hope the pvp zone gets a lot of tweaks, for a start when the games populatiry starts to wane siegeing is going to become a nightmare doing a tiny amount of damage with few players.

Also i would like to see better support ingame, whenever i had a problem there was nowhere to go and check info out, even the beta forum was a bit of a joke, this beta test hasnt convinced me if the game is worth buying yet.

I saw a few zerg rushes [censored] train style from all the factions and it was fun as hell (even as a defender).

Yet I do prefer pvp in hunter (get a target and chase him, set ambushs etc) style instead of engaging in massive battles and Cyrodill map offers the two options.

I foresee a big of an issue with Melee classes. Given the scale of the battles, if you hit the front line, you are going to get picked off very quickly.

I didn't get the chance to try out PvP. I guess I was caught up in the PvE side of things but I think I will be playing for the Daggerfall Covenant, however it is more likely I will have several characters spread across the different factions (so whichever I feel like helping at the time).

I have played all three and for some reason I gravitate towards Daggerfall. I think it's more about the overall theme than anything else. In regards to PvP and Cyrodiil, I don't think it matters much. It will depend on which campaign you are in and which guilds plays the smartest. There will always be zergs. No matter which faction you are in, there will always be a crowd flowing in one direction or another. Wish I could say more.

yeh i thought it was zergish, but (and its a pretty big but) i also saw the zerg stopped cold a few times which is heartening. additionally there are other options to being productive if you need to avoid the zerg.
