With ESO having such diversity in its classes I was wondering how PPL are making their tanks. I was thinking for race Imperial (I ordered the imperial pack already) or Nord. class maybe a Dragon Knight and even though a shield makes since I was planning on duel wielding.... could use orc as a Templar.... the options are great even for ranged DPS where you can do archery as a mage with a minion to tank for you or as a nightblade with stealth options. Give me your tank, DPS, and heal combo ideas

I'm planning on a Altmer Templar. I will wear heavy armor, use a shield and a sword, while putting my skill points in healing. I really hope to be viable as a durable healer

I think Redguards and Orcs will make good tanks. They usually have bonuses that increase their health, melee weapons and/or armour. And looking at the class skills, Dragonknights look to be great tanks.

I am keen on tanking, but I like the Paladin archtypes in rpgs, so I'll probably be a Templar.

My point is that I'm confident any class can be a good tank, your opinion might differ from mine on some abilities I included or did not include, but you get my meaning

Khajiit templar, two handed axe or mace. More offense focused, but hopefully enough backbone to offtank easily with self heals and heavy armor. May have to throw a 1h/shield in there as my second set of weapons if they become necessary to efficiently tank.

I'm thinking of going for an all-around Khajiit Templar with heavy armour, sword 'n board and restoration/destruction staff as 2nd set. Dabbling in all the class skill lines. That could serve as an off tank or even main tank. Remember, healing also pulls a lot of heat.

I'm a Nord Dragon Knight - Sword & Shield.

I don't see hybrid types main tanking veteran end-game content though that's speculation.
