Imperials and play as any race in any faction

Post » Wed Feb 12, 2014 4:32 am

Has it been confirmed that the imperials and the ability to play any race in any faction will be exclusive to pre-orders and not available in store after the game launches? Thanks in advance!

Well, I couldn't find anything, and have only been frequenting this forum for about 3 days. Thank you for your non-constructive bump though.

You can upgrade your game version to imperial version at any time, even after launch, and play an imperial.

Thank you. This was the info I was looking for.

I think it kind of svcks though. I was hoping the bonuses were going to be exclusive to early adopters.

We'll WoW offers faction change, I can see teso doing the same, maybe add a race change also like WoW but lift the faction restriction.

In my opinion, those things ruined WoW along with cross server stuff. The best part of that game early on, was the community.

Myself I think the auto tools LFG/LFR that killed it as no one cared about reputation, were as before you had to be nice or be groupless. started WoW just when TBC was releasing up to MOP, end of wrath it started by cata was geting worst in mop I gave up.

The only way to play that game was with all chat off except for guild, and to join a guild of tolerable players. Only run dungeons with them.

That is how I will be playing TESO. Zone chat off unless I am in the mood to be entertained by all the trolling.

For those of you that ran random PUGs since vanilla release... not sure how you did it and remained sane.

Just to update in case anyone else was wondering, you can buy the Imperial edition after launch and get to play an imperial, however play any race in any faction is exclusive to pre-orders only.

Your op confuses things a bit. The Imperial race is exclusive to the Imperial Edition, not the pre-order. You will, more than likely, be able to upgrade to the Imperial Edition after launch. Any race, any faction, is a pre-order exclusive, and hopefully will not be available after launch.
