PvE Difficulty

If it's against the NDA, warn me ; I just want you guys to buff NPC's a little so that people don't think it's too easy. ;]
That's just MY opinion though, which means nothing, 'tis only a thought. Thought I'd make a poll to see if anyone agrees.

Early levels are always easy. Beta testers haven't even leveled up to harder areas yet, not to mention the challenge that 50+ zones will bring.

From the videos I have seen, it looks like some mobs die too fast, while others are very sturdy.

there were only two situations in all of the entire portion that was available to us in which there was any difficulty whatsoever those of you who played know what I mean the rest of it was WAY to easy

Mmm yeah makes sense. The thing is I'm worried that that level 10 experience ; the easy monster slaying might carry onto higher zones, which I hope is not the case I think bosses should be overpowered, to keep the game interesting and end game content fulfilling as it is end game content. Something to force us to work together for common goals. I won't be certain until we reach that point though, no one except the devs knows for sure what it will be like.

I wouldn't want them to make content less challenging, like other MMO's have done in the past, especially end game content. I don't even need to mention names if you're played MMO's that do it, which I will assume you have.

True. However they should surely tune up the difficulty in the areas I've experienced. In both the starting area and the area after that. Don't worry about the NDA. This info is too general and more or less has been covered in reviews.

Ah, excellent, I'll say this then. I killed every mob even groups of them no problem EXCEPT - one or two NPC's that seemed wayyyyyyyyyyyy stronger on a whole other level than the rest.
However, I don't have anything to compare it to other than those two strong monsters. -huff-

You guys have probably played all the past Elder Scrolls, or at least some of them. Oblivion NPC's scaled with you, Skyrim NPC's stayed a set level.
TESO has specifically set levels of power for NPC's, or from what I've seen so far.... (I don't exactly know)
It was exciting in those single player games to run into a situation that seemed absolutely hopeless because the enemy was one shotting me, or had seemingly infinite portions of health.
You can't pause online, but that sort of challenging experience should be kept within the online version, where it's damned near impossible to fight that massive Daedric prince without a group of godlike players.

I was hoping for that too but it seems it is your typical mmorpg in this case, as shown in the reviews.

The typical mmorpg world is divided into zones with levels (example 1-5, 5-10 etc) with the occasional group quest tailored for a group at these levels.

For example, as shown in gameplay footage, you fight flame atronachs at level 1.

I'm not sure what line I can cross when it comes to the NDA, But I'll try anyway. As me solely and my experience I felt as though the class I was playing was being easily overwhelmed when I tried to take any more than just 2 enemies at once. These weren't heroic mobs or anything just simple enemies at the same level as I, Stamina drained too quickly and so did my magicka despite the fact I had invested solely in stamina as it was within my classes best interest to either invest in stamina or magicka.

Well whatever was shown in reviews is ok to discuss I believe. So you played "rogue" eh? Could that class have a leeching health skill to make things easier, I wonder.

It did, You're talking of course about the first skill that'll be available to you within the assassination tree. The problem with this skill however is that does little to no damage on enemy with high HP and only works on the killing blow. Unfortunately if you're talking about Siphon tree I didn't invest any points in this tree because I saw a lack of anything that maximises the damage potential of my class and I don't see a whole point in getting sustains when in group situations we'd have dedicated healers and tanks to agro all the damage so I won't have to.

Ah no bandage, I think they meant the Siphon tree is all about gaining hp back.

Yeah, maybe the lower level stuff needs a wee push though.
We'll all know for certain when we reach levels 40+.
Only time will tell.

I know what he meant I looked over the Siphon tree like I said but I didn't see anything worth getting I died easily yes but I think as a nightblade our focus should be more on DPS and not sustain that should be left to the tanks, If you're a solo player I do see the benefits of going for the siphon tree being able to sustain heal and DPS would be handy but I feel like that's out of the area of the nightblade.

I invested solely in dual wielding, shadow and assassination skill trees because I feel like those give me the maximum DPS.

I had done the same thing bandage, until I died once and stacked the self heals. The first skill in the siphon tree actually negated my need for any sort of health item.

If you're only fighting one mob at a time, it should be easy - unless its a boss or elite type NPC I guess.

I've had way too much of this "dont pull two mobs at once" crap from other crappy mmo's.... I'd like ESO to be different... make them attack me in groups or something, I dunno. Just don't have them wander about watching us kill them one by one.
