Game Play Lameness

for a brief while, i played around with a Khajiit. liked the idea of getting a nighteye thingy early in the game. but got turn off having to cast it again and again. night vision is like having eyes or claws. shouldn't be treated like a spell. treated more like claws is. the effect should be able to be turn off or on. and torches are to few and don't last. laterns are duds. would nice to get a light type in riverwood.

I think it would have been more adventurer friendly if you could get a lantern and tie it to your belt so you can use a two handed weapon/shield/spell etc. but also have light

The game isn't dark at it's default brightness. You never need to use any light stuff unless you have your brightness at 40% or under.

There's a mod for that.

I agree that Night Eye should have been an either on or off toggle, not with a 60 second timer. Of course, this is easily accomplished with mods or the CK for PC users.
