Just the concept of still looking bad-ass without having to be completely maxed out buff and wearing flashy armor will always appeal to me.

He's simple... simply bad-ass, plus Two-Handed weapons are boss.

He wears the armor of those who wiped out your Dragon masters on a foreign continent and pretty much did the same in Tamriel.... I don't think you want him as a champion even for a short while.
