So when playing Fallout NV, what route do you usually take after leaving Goodsprings?

I like the fact that I could short cut to Vegas if I wanted but usually I just follow the MQ

What route do you take to New Vegas? Because some routes are very dangerous and populated by Deathclaws.

Yup, I totally avoid those and follow Benny's trail down to Primm, Nipton, Novac, Boulder, 188 and eventually Vegas. I've made it past the Deathclaws for the challenge but I always end up reloading my save and following the main quest route, I just think it's a really enjoyable intro to the game.
