Just watched the announcement trailer again and it is soooo EPIC! Max von Sydow's voice with the music in the background together with the visuals is awesome :smile: "And when the truth finally DAWNS" (*Dragon opens the eye*) "it dawns in FIRE! :flamethrower: :rock: Still get goosebumps everytime! How about you guys?

I didn't get goosebumps initially, so I can't really answer that.

I'm one of the very few who don't like the Elder Scrolls theme. I know! Crucify me! But I just don't think it's that great.

Y'know, I was just considering finding that old trailer and watching it again.

I am *baffled* by the decision to not include an opening cinematic with Skyrim. They could have slapped that trailer on at the beginning of the game and I probably would have watched it almost every time I fired up a new character. The opening screen is just black, with the imperial dragon symbol and fog, and sure you get the music playing, but c'mon...

Instead, our 'opening cinematic' is a cart ride. Ralof is our opening cinematic. One that we can't skip. Dude?

I actually like the opening screen. the simplicity together with the music sets the mood just right for another epic adventure. sometimes I just close my eyes, turn up the volume and listens to the theme song before i begin to play :smile:

I love this to. Even though it's a bit cheesy, it's pretty awesome at the same time. Max von Sydow makes it epic :smile: But I don't understand what you meen by "I love the parody of it too:"??

I believe he means the fact that the trailer's LDB, fights the dragon in iron armor.

Whenever I watch the trailer now I imagine the lyrics to Tobuscus' "Skyrim Literal Trailer". I probably watched that video at least a million times.

I love the parody of the Skyrim trailer. it uses the trailer but it has fake subtitles. I'd link it but it has words that are censored on the forums.
He's not even funny. He's just very annoying. I've seen about 20 of his videos and I hated all of them. My poor ears.

I really liked the first trailer, but I have to admit the live trailer just floored me. When that dragon landed and roared at the Dragonborn ... damn! Total Eldergasm. I wanted the game SO BAD.
