I got a real fixing on some Norse/Viking world scenario lately with the History Channel's Viking series. I was wondering if anyone new some active book series that indulged the reader to the length of something like Wheel of Time, or Harry Potter, I mean the only other book series I could say ultimately would be the Sharpe series.

I have not read too many fiction series seems I only catch the right one now and again. Would really look forward to submerge into some deep Norse Myth war and wilderness literature.
