Targeting indicators.

Just wondering what people would prefer.

On one hand we see Eso has the red glowing target indicators, which makes it easy to tell what mob you are specifically hitting & likely works in hand with the soft-locking system, but it also has a negative impact on immersion in the world.

Or you could have the crosshars turn red when aming at a target, yet there could probably be some discrepency between what you are aiming at (targets close together) and the target it might hit. On the plus side, immersion is so much better & you have to pay attention to what it is you are looking at. It could even be made to glow red when you are actually within range of that target.

Probably it is not NDA to say that the glow can be turned off completely.

Here is a review, according to which I can speak. http://www.tesoelite.com/2014/02/elder-scrolls-online-beta-impressions-story/

So basically, one can turn off any in-world indicators, thats not part of the HUD. Moreover, the UI is (I think) fully moddable, so anything can be done with it (through a Lua interface).
