So is Tiber Septim confirmed to be Breton now?
I am very happy if this is the case.
It's written in a way that suggests that, but we don't know for sure.
Also, if the Elk is reading me, didn't you say that a bunch of preludes were coming up?
WHAT IS HAPPENING? I WAS THE MASTER OF THE LAST EMPIRE OF ALL MEN! I WAS THE RED JEWEL OF CONQUEST THAT MADE ALL THINGS RIGHT! WHY DID YOU CALL ME A VIRUS?
This makes it sound like the Empire now is the only one that there is... Stormcloak victory anyone?
LOL, only you would come to that conclusion.
I wouldn't be sure of that. He's talking to a Mer, after all. All it implies is that man isn't necessarily dominant in anything anymore. A mer called him a virus, not another man, therefore it could mean literally anything.
Hammerfell secceded, you cannot just reduce everything to Skyrim. Also, point above.
I don't get what being called a virus has to do with him mentioning he was the master of man's last Empire, meaning this one. Implying there were no others after that. It was clear that it would end, but now we know not only does it end, but no others come after it, ruled by man anyway.
Getting back to the topic, Akatosh is called The Worm in here. It seems to dislike red and salt, which is why salt merchants are offered as sacrifices. However, C0DA establishes pretty early that The Worm as "they". Maybe it is refering to the Time God Oversoul?
I can't claim to know enough TES metaphysics or even religious lore to comment substantially. It's worth considering the imagery tied to Lorkhan's heart, I'd imagine.
Perhaps. Not the first time someone referred to one of the Time-Gods faces as the Worm. That's basically how all the souls in Sovngard refer to Alduin in game.
Could be. Their reasons for creating tunnels inside Masser are rather obscure. But I suppose that's tied to it being part of Lorkhan's corpse after all. If nobody told me about The Worm, I would just have assumed those tunnels were product of the rotting. Maybe something related to Kalpas?
I thought that the most interesting part was that Dagoth Ur was part of Vivec's Power Rangers team. After all he's dead, and he was pretty much the ALMSIVI's biggest enemy other than Talos.
I think that we saw something really timey wimey in there. We were reading things related to Vehk's origins shortly before, alternate truths made so by his meddling with history via Dragon Break. I suppose this was a consequence of that. In a Dragon Break, Time becomes fracturated and everything can happen so... why not this?
Also, when someone (Alandro Sul if I remember right) mentioned Nerevar, Alamexia asked "which one?" Is that a reference to the fact that there were an infinite number of Nervarines that everybody made?
Either that or the multiple number of alternate Nerevars we know of. Which one, the one who killed Shor? Or maybe Vehk's disciple?
EDIT: MK's answer is below.
That was my C0DA's answer original #thenameofthenerevarine hash. Every Nerevar has been elevated past fanfiction now, whether PC or NPC.
What would be your answer for the hypothetical case of:
If two different people CODA's clash, how can discussion even be done?
