It's kinda hard to say something good from a completely normal day, as nothing really sticks out. But I got my health and I didn't die, and that's always good

Good news! I just lost 40 pounds by getting my legs eaten by a lion.

I actually won my first Magic the gathering competition, I had no idea what I did but the guy in the finals had spend 1000$ on building his deck, while I just paid 15$ and bought a bulk, needless to say, he was pissed, I got some cash out of it too, so that was good.

I got a check in the mail today for $10.40 from Fidelity Investments. Seems they owed me some money. That was unexpected.

Yesterday I took my 2013 Ford F-150 4x4ing in the 30" of snow we got. That was pretty epic and fun. Truck handles the snow like it's not even there.

Currently I'm watching Adventure Time while my daughter is sitting on a Hess truck driving it around giggling which makes me smile.

My car didn't stall this morning for once, and I didn't die.

Oh yeah, I did my taxes too. I'm see if my wife will let me order the OEM Ford plug-n-play remote start kit for my truck with some of the money.

Don't get your hopes up. Didn't you last year try to upgrade your PC, but your wife wanted kitchen cabinets? Or something like that.

That just means you have yourself set up right. I'd rather have a minimal return and the money in my pocket throughout the year. I claim 3 dependents through work even though I have none and still usually get a few hundred back. Though part of that is due to break for interest paid on my mortgage.

On topic, one of my co-workers picked me up for work today since my car was going no where in the snow, not to mention my alley wasn't plowed and I'll be shoveling until next week to get out. And, a bunch of us at work ordered some amazing pizza for lunch and I indulged way to much. It was delightful. Also a friend at work sent me a Valentines treat (she's engaged, nothing happening there) but it was a nice gesture which made me feel good. Corny, for sure, but made me smile.

I am now "semi-single", so this week has been the first week in a while that I've been genuinely happy. That's about it.
