Well....

Post » Sat Feb 15, 2014 8:27 am

Looking at things from an objective point of view, i feel that this game definitely will end up going free to play, so i'm going to wait until then before i play it. The reason i think that is because very few MMO's have survived with a sub model and MANY of them have failed, i'm not that well off financially at the moment to just gamble with my money so i regret to say i will not be playing this game while it uses the subscription model...

I'm sorry Zenimax, i hope you succeed but i just don't think it's going to happen.

On the other hand, you'll probably make alot more money with a Free to play or Buy to play model along with a cash shop...

nothing wrong with F2P as long as it's done meticulously. SWTOR is done well in my opinon and seems to do pretty well.

I hope you all understand that if it goes f2p it means squat to them, they won't be losing a damn thing, since they have TES6 up their sleeve.

As SOON as they see a bad profit, they will just turn the page and put it f2p with a serious cash shop advantage, and just play the "TES 6 is in development!" card and create some ES hype which will maintain a few to the ESO game.

So they have it ALL planned out, people keep opening wallets? Just put more and more pay walls and locked "DLC's" until people are fed up and throw in the f2p and tes6 card, boom, as much profit as you can possibly imagine.

I don't care for the SWTOR f2p model, they nickel and dime you to death. I'd play Neverwinter instead.

I am almost sure that zenimax media(publishers not devs) will money grab at every opportunity if it were to go F2P.

Good for you. We have an open payment model thread where you can share this opinion. No need for another: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1488509-eso-pricing-too-high/
