Hoo boy. I recently uninstalled a ton of mods, including OBGE Liquid Water. I wanted to try a fresh install only using texture packs and the like, and some OBGE effects. So I came across a problem. Right now all I have installed is Oblivion, Shivering Isles, Horse Armor DLC, and Knights of the Nine. It isn't a fresh install, though.

My water is missing. All that's left is an almost totally transparent dark skin where the water should be. The water is there if I uninstall OBSE and OBGE. It is gone once I re-install them, both latest versions. Any suggestions?

I should add that the distant water is black. I updated my archive invalidation just to be sure, it's still screwy though. I'm pretty sure it's some residual thing somewhere that didn't get removed or something, and it's driving me nuts lol. I can't just uninstall OBGE, I need it for other mods to work. :\

Nevermind, it seems to have corrected itself...for now....

I don't know what I did differently, just ran BOSS again and rebuilt the bashed patch for the umpteenth time and the water was there. Serves me right trying to play this late at night instead of sleeping.

I am advising against using the computer during the rebuilding of the bashed patch. My game sometimes even crashes on loading if in the meantime I did something with the computer and then I must rebuild the bashed patch one more time.
