I agree about Queen Ayrenn, she's the most dominant PERSON in this game, never mind woman !!

I agree with the OP, but I didn't think to mention it because that's something that is generally true of Elder Scrolls games. I always appreciated the fact that my female characters wore normal, functional looking armor and generally seemed more like real people than six dolls. Yeah, sometimes I dress my characters in a somewhat "sixy" outfit (sometimes I dress myself that way, too), but I don't want to be forced to!

Well.... they don't exactly deter perverts.

Have you ever looked at the more popular mods for TES games? It's 101 varieties of boob-enhancers combined with clothing that could make most strippers blush.

I came into knowledge of the game late, so I couldn't say. I remember reading the descriptions for the two male leaders and knowing that the third was going to be a woman because no modern game is going to be that sixist. I was a little disappointed at first, but then I remembered FF14, which had only female leaders for every nation, and how much pointless [censored] and sixual assault and outdated gender roles the game had. So, I'll still take one fabulous queen over three girl-children and a story full of garbage any day.

This game is already better than Skyrim in terms of diversity. Do not get me wrong, I appreciate past Elder Scrolls games for their relative inclusive and progressive nature, but for all the hub-bub about same six marriage for PCs, the game world was conspicuously absent of non-heteronormative relationships. THIS is exactly what I want to see. A steady progression of video games becoming more inclusive, each one better than the last.

But...there was a gay couple in the Dragonborn DLC of Skyrim.

And Vivec has always been a bi-sixual hermaphrodite... And he's an old timer, from waaay back in Morrowind.

Just to clear this up, googling I found other people thinking she was in charge. So wasn't just me.

But going back to the earliest archives of the faction info on the official site it was always Jorunn. Maybe I just saw Almalexia and assumed if she was involved, as a living god, no-one could trump her creds when picking a leader.

The Tribunal gods have always been pretty diverse , though.

A strong woman, a bisixual hermaphrodite, and a social recluse.

Morrowind is one of my favorite games for a reason... Vivec's lady parts are too downplayed imo though.

Actually, the very founder of the Empire is a women, Alessia, so yeah, TES games support equality since the mid 1990s!

I expected no less from a TES game and I wasn't disappointed. I agree with Aeon Blue 100%.

Every gay couple in TES was dead (bury your gays, anyone?) and gods are a whole different matter, though I admit Vivec is as awesome as it gets. Meeting a random questgiver #14 who doesn't wind up dead and also happens to be gay made me grin. It's no longer 'there, but you have to pay attention to see' - it's just there. I'm a happy panda.

Perhaps they are saving all the boobz for the shop. That is supposed to be cosmetic right.

I was so enthusiastic when I first created my Dunmer woman in the beta. The ability to make a fantasy character with realistic body attributes instead of your traditional 'blood elf' blew me away. I've taken a few screenshots of the character sliders in an attempt to recreate my better attempts in the future.

I made a post on the beta forums congratulating ZOS on such a robust character creator. Everyone can make a character that reflects their image in some way.
