If you could take you character, or the real you got pulled into the Fallout Universe, and you could leave the preconceived area where would you go?

Would you travel outside the area finding an old military base inhabited by Ghoul soldiers and make friends or kill them all for their stuff!

Loot the the federal reserve banks and sell it all for tons of caps and equipment.

Get the various friendly factions to work together.

Find a nice safe zone and settled down to have a few kids.

Please give a name of its real life counterpart if available...

Okay to start off the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Weather_Emergency_Operations_Center, is 48 miles from D.C. and could have been targeted by the Fallout Universe Chinese thou from what I saw on the one show, America's Doomsday Plan, the place should have underground levels so a majority of personnel could have survived the bombs falling in 2077. The possibility of them becoming Ghouls is a neat twist... heck it could have been connected via one of the Presidential Metro tunnels we see in FO3.

I figure the stationed personnel would be part of CEDAR or Civil Emergency Disaster Assistance Relief that would have coordinated the US response if the whole USA wasn't nuked to hell...
