Now that the NDA has been lifted

might as well start running a constant closed beta test group in order to test and squash bugs in the higher lvl zones not just the 1 - 17 zones, if the higher lvl zones dont get tested out before launch then there is going to be serious problems at launch also not to mention having a large group of testers testing the game 24/7 will lead to a much higher efficiency with feedback and bug squishing.

on the other note now that NDA is lifted I can finally say it bluntly.....

The more this game focuses on DAOC mechanics the worse the game will do

The more this game focuses on Elder Scroll mechanics the better the game will do

this has been proven now in several games where the DAOC mechanics have been the main focus and all of these games have performed poorly, please leave the DAOC mechanics as a SIDE dish and focus on the PVE as the Main Course

Beta has only recently been capped at 1-17, prior to like what, a month or two ago? It had been unlimited levels during the weekend tests, and a lot of us have been able to get to 40-50s multiple times during weekend tests. Higher level stuff is and has been tested a lot, is what I'm saying.

Uh, don't think anyone is allowed to talk about this, homie. NDA for the normal beta has been lifted, but not that one. ZOS has confirmed what you say is true, but its still under NDA.

keep in mind zenimax runs there own private ongoing beta test that not open to the public the game is always being tested they just let us help from time to time to get the stuff they missed and overlooked. also to test the servers get surveys see what people like and do. an ongoing open beta test requires money nothing is free. also running a open beta test means that they cant just turn stuff off and fix things as they want without pissing off the beta testers with server downtime and a whole bunch crap.

This game has PvE and RvR content, and the RvR is an integral part of the end game, as it should be.

Nice trolling though.

All of the games I played with supposed DAoC mechanics have failed because they couldn't get it right. To gamey and crappy. They needed to bring back REAL RvR in a big way which ESO's AvA is doing.

From someone who played DAoC I can say ESO seems to be the closest I've seen. Didn't get to play GW2 so I can't say. But I know I liked DAoC and it looks like I'll love ESO.

Thing is, I don't plan to focus on AvA that much because the TES elements are so good that I'm dying just to run around and explore the PvE content alone.

AvA is what will give this game longevity after the PvE content gets old.

I agree, but there's a lot of people that don't realize that for a newly launched MMO the amount of PvE content in this game is STAGGERING. There's more dungeons, more quests and zones, and more on the way (raids and AZ's) later. This game has so much content its silly.

Star Trek online launched with like only 10 levels of content for an entire faction lol
