Build Idea - Champion of the New Temple

I've had this idea for a while, but I don't see myself playing it anytime soon so I figured I'd share it in case anyone was interested.

The Champion of the New Temple is a dunmer who worships the Reclamations: Azura, Boethiah, and Mephala.

Skills:

  • Heavy Armor (You will be using the Ebony Mail, so you should use heavy armor)
  • Two-Handed (You will be using the Ebony Blade, so you should use two-handed)
  • Destruction (Use destruction for ranged damage)
  • Illusion (Illusion will help with stealth since you are using heavy armor)
  • Conjuration (Use conjuration for summons and soul trap, but do not use necromancy)
  • Sneak (Used to get by enemies undetected and perform sneak attacks)

You should do the quests of Azura, Boethiah, and Mephala. Do Azura's quest as soon as possible because you can do it at level one. Get Azura's Star and not the Black Star because you wouldn't betray Azura and take Aranea Ienith as your follower. When you get to level twenty do Mephala's quest. When you get the Ebony Blade kill whomever you wish to charge the blade, but wait after you kill your ninth. Finally when you reach level thirty do Boethia's quest. I thought of a way to tie all the quests together. Who should you sacrifice to Boethiah? None other than your loyal follower, Aranea Ienith priestess of Azura. What should you sacrifice her with? None other than the Ebony Blade, artifact of Mephala, therefore charging it to its maximum.

Besides that you can do whatever you want. I suggest getting a full suit of ebony to go with the Ebony Mail. If you want a new follower you could get Jenassa. Also, if you have Dragonborn you should go to the temple and pray at the shrines and do the quest there. For roleplay you may want to get the temple priest robes, boots, and hood, but you can only get them by killing one of the priests, so console them in if you're on PC.

The Champion of the New Temple probably wouldn't be dragonborn so don't do the main quest unless you really want to. I don't see any reason to join or not join the College of Winterhold, but if you want master spells you'll have to. You could join the Companions if you want, but I don't see the Champion of the New Temple being a werewolf. Finally, the Dark Brotherhood seems like the guild that this build would most likely join. You would join the Dark Brotherhood, but kill in the name of Mephala rather than Sithis. As for the DLC main quests, I don't think the Champion of the New Temple would want to join the Volkihar or the Dawnguard, but would be more likely to join the Dawnguard. Unless you decide to do the main quest of Skyrim, you can't do the main quest of Dragonborn, but if you decide to do the Skyrim main quest then you could do the Dragonborn main quest.

That's all I have to say about this build, let me know what you think and if you plan to to try it.
