Looking up an NPC's Spells

Is there a way to check to see what spells an NPC has in game?

I don't know about checking ingame but you can check in the creation kit.

No one specific NPC. It's just my mods allow me to teach NPCs new spells and I want to keep track of the spells they know without forgetting them.

I'm not sure why this is not mentioned on the Skyrim wiki article, but there is a console command that might do what you want.

HASSPELL # (or player.hasspell #) returns a 1 if the spell is known, and a zero if unknown. I briefly experimented with Sarana and

none of the spells she supposedly knows show positive, however they DO return a 1 after using Addspell #. Perhaps this command

uses something similar to the two different numbers used in game for stuff (refid vs baseid) and the spell# from the wiki are only used

for player, and the other one (whatever it is) is used for npc.
