I just wanted to write out my experience with the very first Dark Anchor - the moment I fell IN LOVE with this game (for real).

I was just wandering through the area as my healing templar chick - as I was walking through a small lake picking up a famous ninroot, I heard a booming voice doing a chant. I had literally NO idea that there was a Dark Anchor near me, and had NO idea what was going on. I basically [censored] my pants scared thinking there was something bad coming to kill me. I basically looked in the general direction of the sound and saw the clouds swirling and lightning crackling, and the circle appeared and the huge anchor slamed down to the ground and hooked itself in. I was already freaking amazed at how AWE inspiring it was, and with caution I snuck in some bushes beside the mages that summoned the Anchor and watched them. I was a lower level than them, and they looked pretty tough. I wanted to fight whatever was to come - but didn't want to die. Luckily, some random friendlies came over to help, and we all charged in. After killing them, the daedra kept coming down and were awesomely difficult and cool looking. (I don't want to go into details on that because you can see WHAT happens on many videos).
Eventually, it got to the point where there were easily 70 to 100 people there all fighting, and as a healer I was just spamming my area-heal and saving people's lives left and right - I even resurrected some people so they could continue fighting, and it was cool haha. Plus, I got some pretty cool loot at the end with those super-monster bosses at the end.

Anyways just wanted to share, incase anyone had the same experience, or incase someone was on the fence and maybe went "oh wow that sounds cool, I want to try that. (which I doubt, but I can always try)

Did anyone else have a similar awe-inspiring moment in the beta?
