Very difficult fisticuffs down Cidna Mine!

Post » Wed Feb 19, 2014 11:57 pm

Hi

Am I right in thinking that I have to go to Cidna Mine to finish the Foresworn Conspiracy mission?

I tried it once and ended up having the bare fist fight with Morc the Orc. I obviously didn’t inflict enough damage (desp[ite blistering my fingers with the controller) as it said failed and I was then invited to kill Madenach or whatever his name is. Thing is I have no armor, weapons and he seems to be able to breathe fire with the inevitable end result.

Do you have to beat the Orc and the other guy to complete the mission?

How is this achieved with no armor or weapons?

Assuming I can succeed, can I get everything back afterwards?

Thanks

Lower the difficulty if you're having such a hard time. Talk to everybody, you should he able to give the Orc a shiv to get through. And yes, you'll get your stuff back.

Restoration. :P

Legendary fist fights are absurd, and impossible without potions and/or Restoration. Madanach, however is the the real challenge in this quest, but I'll say no more.

I tried killing Madanach once, no twice. First time was my first time doing that quest. I walked in there and started slashing him with a shiv; I was dead in seconds. Maybe a month ago, with my new character (sneak), I went behind him with a shiv, crouched down, and sneak-power attacked him. I think only half his health went down, and my sneak was 100 as well as my one handed. Tough dude :\

Out of curiosity, what difficulty are you playing on?

You can bribe him.

Talk to other guy in prison how it can be done.

Unless you are a mage with decent manna it's very difficult fighting Madanach.

If you are a mage just conjure an angry dremora lord (or two) and let him finish it for you.
