If you join the dark brotherhood you get paid for contracts however you live in a cave with little/no treasure.
The thieves guild lives in a sewer however the guild master owns a mansion and there is a vault full of gold.

I understand the assassins have been hunted down however just suprised at lack of funds abd how poor their conditions are.

They need to start charging more......

True that you can make money for them at the nd but visually in game there isnt even a chest with gold to loot from.

Many bandit keeps have better loot
