Imperial racial skill line

Looks like Imperials are getting the highest hp and stamina % bonuses of all races.

Tough 4/8/12% Max Health

Conditioning 4/8/12% Max Stamina

How is that fair? The next non-collectors edition race orcs is getting only 6% at 3 rank. 12% max hp bonus is quite a big advantage in pvp and pve tanking. From what I've seen in videos there is no hp soft cap so you can stack as much hp as you want and Imperials will always have an advantage here (unless you're and Emperor ofc). One of the best races stat wise locked behind a paywall.

Imperials get +12% Health and Stamina for 6 skill points. Orcs get +6% Health and Stamina for 3 skill points. How is that not fair? Orcs also get +15% health regeneration, and a huge boost to sprinting speed and efficiency, which is arguably better than the health proc Imperials get, since it is only from melee attacks.

Imperial racials are great for tanking, but Khajit racials are OP as heck for Nightblades in PvP, and Altmer is amazing for mages.

I don't think you know how soft caps work for stats either... 12% health increase is nice but it is no better than +12% to any other stat in the long run.

How is it no better? You do 0 dps with 0 hp and 100% magica and stamina. ;) More hp is always better and I haven't seen anyone reaching hp soft cap yet. Some guy pumped all his lvl up points in health and still havent reached the cap (while he got magica cap with 0 points in magica).

People bring up the orcs, but with the amount of skill points available in the game, it doesn't matter that the orcs have both on a single passive, since that passive is half of both, while imperials get 12% of each for skill points.

Skill points are abundant so there is no reason to say that orcs have it better, they don't, imperials are by far better, even if you don't min-max, 12% is huge, simple as that, don't sugar coat it.

I believe it only becomes an issue if this isn't available through other means in game.

So if lets just say the hard cap is 15% once an imperial gets to 15% they can't increase it any more regardless of what items or enchantments or skill points they use, so as long as every other race has the ability to also hit this same hard cap its fair.

Have these racials even been confirmed by Zenimax?

I dont see Imperials as OP. Hell, I dont even see them as the best. If you want to make a tank or pure pvp character, you have a few very viable options. Unlike others...

Sorcerers have Altmer (and to a lesser extent, Breton) and Nightblades are all Khajiit because its racial is OP as hell. Trust me, you arent missing much by not having access to Imperials other than the free 17k gold for the mount.

If Imperial racials are OP, then so are Khajiit's. And I'm not exactly fond of the Imperial racials since they kinda "force" the Imperial to be a tank/melee character by default.

On the contrary. The wise player will most likely disregard it.

It's a little pointless having a massive health pool if you're melee and wearing light armor.

Armor for melee is a key mitigator. Orcs gain bonuses there. Usually the optimal approach is to balance the two - mitigation vs health. It's rarely optimal to pump everything into one of the other.

Those numbers you came up with are "interesting".

They are kinda like the numbers listed for armor passives. Usually people list the "first tier" bonuses, and gloss over the fact they have several tiers, which can add up to a substantial effect.

I hope there are caps, but even then, being 3% away from the cap pretty much means you can disregard it or invest very little while investing enchantments on magicka so you have all 3 stats buffed up with 2 of them being only skill points dependant, while everyone else has to sacrifice a lot more stats to get in line, since most have a boost to a single stat (stamina, magicka or health), orcs being the single case of both, its its cut in half, so imho, its balanced.
