The thing about Ghouls is that they are human. Ghouls are really just burnt and disfigured humans who, as a result of their damaged cells, have a slowed aging process (or flat out don't age at all). They're not 'normals', but they are 'human'.

How Chriso and Hole ASSassin is derailing this thread with this shtick on how they pretend to be the enclave and the farce on how they hate Ghouls. Chriso hates Ghouls (which is a race of humans) so that makes him a game-racist (and he has a black basketball player as his icon) and same for Unholy Assasin.

Would you 2 enclave nut jobs hate characters in this game if they was in wheelchairs?

All of that is completely inappropriate. I'm not being in character for this post. We have said time and time again, that we don't relate to real life, and heck, Assassin said that in this thread. If you want, you could say we're 'roleplaying'.

And what has the last bit got to do with anything? I don't see it. We don't hate ghouls simply because they're disfigured; we dislike them due to their attitude, and we want to rid them because they're dangerous and a threat to America's rebirth.

It seems I get it worse than Chriso. Atleast his name doesn't change throughout this attempt at foiling our plans. We're not pretending, within the game world, Im speaking for myself here, I believe the Enclave are doing what is right. Ghouls aren't a race in itself, they used to be people, but are now on a downwards spiral to becoming ferals, a threat to society.

I assume you're referring to feral ghouls. We don't really know enough about feral ghouls to know whether or not all ghouls eventually succumb to the condition. It's possible, but it's just as unlikely as it is likely. The feral state seems to be a failure of higher brain functions, so it may be a decay that all ghouls go through at different rates, or it's possible that not all ghouls are affected by whatever causes the degeneration.

It is certain that all Ghouls eventually turn feral. Its like humans getting old. Some people age gracefully, some people don't. Some people age but still are young in mind, spirit and body, and some are not that old but behave senile all the same.

It's just different rates of something thats bound to happen.

What you two are doing is seeing the Ghouls for the bad that they are, and discriminating upon them about something that happens PSYCHOLOGICALLY, not BIOLOGICALLY. You say that eventually, they'll become ferals, thinking that it's SUPPOSED to happen, like it's a disease, and because of that, they should be eradicated.
Alright; if that was the case, and they ALL were supposed to turn ferals because they're infected or something, then I would agree that they SHOULD be killed when they get to that point. (not just kill them on sight; I find that cruel and unusual punishment if they're still able to think consciously like a human) But they don't! THEY DON'T. Another piece of proof that it's psychological; not biological) In fact, society MAKES them that way, because they are HATED AND SHUNNED FOR WHAT THEY HAVE BECOME. There are a few BAD conscience Ghouls, like Crowley, Ahzrukhal, and Roy Phillips, that really don't deserve to keep breathing. But just because THEY have their share of prejudice against those so-called 'smoothskins' doesn't mean everyone ELSE has it, too. Ghouls act suspicious towards wanderers that AREN'T Ghouls that come in to Underworld, because they don't want what was trying to kill them out THERE, to come to their doorstep. They see the guns the wanderer has, so they have a REASON to feel suspicious and nervous. So as a friendly warning on THEIR part, they tell the wanderer that there are "more of us than you", which means they aren't looking for trouble. They just want to live their lives in solitude AWAY from the bigotry, but if they're provoked, they will defend themselves, which is PERFECTLY FINE. THEY'RE ALLOWED TO DO THAT. I wouldn't stand still and say "shoot me!" if I were being fired at; would you? :/

You two make it look like the Ghoul-lovers are idiots, when really, what you two are saying, are just making yourselves look bad and prejudice against fictional characters. There are bad parts of the Ghouls, and yet, there are GOOD parts to Ghouls, too. There are doctors (Barrow), engineers (Winthrop), shopkeepers willing to trade (Carol, Tulip), and you know what? They're WILLING to help you. How about that? How about the Ghouls that are WILLING to help you? Or are they just the bad guys, too?

Unlike what you two say with your Enclave ramblings on how they all should die because they're stark-raving mad and yarg blarg ya, I say they are deserving to live their own lives. Just trying to point it out to you two is like trying to knock a boulder down a hill using a toothpick.

The fact that we don't know what triggers the transformation into a feral is what's so frightening! We can never see it coming, never expect it -- we could be dead before knowing what hit us. A risk I cannot take.

Extermination is the only way in ensure the nation's safety. Not the prettiest way of dealing with the problem, I know, but it is the most effective.

I don't mind ghouls. Some, like Gob, I actually like. So they look like hideous zombies from an old monster flick, but their hearts, souls and tears are all very much human.

Nazi are real life. Enclave is in a game. Learn to tell the difference.

Assassins, by nature, usually are motivated politically, religiously, or usually financially. It is possible for an Assassin to be Holy. However, if you ever read the "Explain Your Username" thread in community discussion, you would see, I picked the name because of the contradiction I saw in it. Firstly, that's Tim Duncan. Secondly, show some damn respect. That dude is the greatest power forward of all time and throughout his career has accumulated two MVPs and four NBA championships. He stayed 4 years at college to earn a degree because it was his mother's wish. I don't see what's to make fun of here, as he is widely recognised as one of the best players of all time and a great man, too.
