RIFT have Argonian's names!

Sometimes when I see another player with a silly name, I would think that will be a great Argonian name -- lol. It helps not to get out of char as bad if I think in those terms. I still prefer to have lore friendly names, but I understand that will never happen either. One reason I never will use nameplates -- see no evil, know no evil ;) I still wish that ESO has a built in random char generator in the char creation screen, that will help with non lore friendly names.

I don't think a character name generator would be used by many people. I feel like its always an option people skip over.

I agree with the rest of the statement though. I love lore friendly names, and will hide nameplates not to have to see names like XXSniperzXX.

Monday and Tuesday I planned out 5 characters I want to create day 1. I spent an hour or so on each characters name. I just have my Argonian left to name, as I'm in between a couple Cyrodilc names for him. (One silly, but fits his lore well).

I didn't use this, but it's fun to cycle through sometimes:

Allowing spaces and apostrophes and such will help far more than a name generator IMO. If you look at RIFT, making a new character with the name generator leaves you with something unpronounceable as a name at this point.
