i have a tendency to get excited for games, usually one a year or every other at least and the last one for me was GTA V which turned out great. before that was D3 which i liked but it did not live up to D2 (hard to do that really) mostly because of the RMAH and how they tuned gear and gear drops because of it. skyrim before that though turned out amazing as you all know. i hope ESO can live up to the hype i have given it. from what i had played i think it does

That's kind of how my list went. Build a new tower for D3, GTA 5 and this

The first MMO I got excited for after WoW was Aion, played the beta for ten minutes and then after that I never got excited for another MMO.

Until now! Because regardless of whether or not this game is huge, I genuinely enjoyed every minute I got to spend in the beta even though I wasn't even pumped to play it at first.

Very Excited for this game as well. I think the last time I was this excited for a mmo . was the release of wows expansion wrath of the lich king. I do wish there were more beta weeks. But thats ok i guess.

I really hope this game is as good as what ive seen out of the beta and the videos I seen online.

That first day it launches - Oh man . gotta stock up on mountain dew and coffee. And easy to fix food like pizza rolls and hotpockets. I probably wont get sleep for the first 48hours

This will be a good game, but it feels like every other MMO launch so far to be honest. Devs are doing pretty much everything that devs for other AAA MMOs do, nothing too unique so far, so I don't why people expect this to be different. Hard to say that a Dev team is doing an awesome job now days after experiencing what Roberts Space Industries (RSI) has done with Star Citizen. Pretty much no other dev team in history has compared to what they're doing right now as far as openness, player-interaction, and innovation.

Not saying TESO isn't going to be a good game. Just saying that as far as excitement goes, and how the Devs are acting, TESO pretty much feels like every other MMO launch lol.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt and will hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

This is where I'm at: http://www.monsterenergy.com/us/en/products/monster-energy/#!/products%3Azero-ultra <--- Zero Sugar, Zero Caleries, Zero Carbs, Lots of Energy =)

Anyway, yeah. I'm uber excited about ESO. Prior to this, for me, it was Rift. Before that, Aion. Then a long stretch, before that being DAoC, and prior to that EverQuest. Geez I'm old.. =/

Speaking of Dragon Age.. Just installed Origins .. I've had it and the first expansion for .. I don't even know how long. Gonna finally play it lol. Hoping that fills my free time for now. So gonna play through vanilla, then install the expansion. Not really sure how I should go about it to be honest. I may even have a copy of 2 around here, i don't even know.. When you've been playing computer games since Commodore 64 @ 6 years old, when they were all text-based and you don't like throwing things out, well.. you can imagine.

Dragon Age: Origins it probably my favorite RPG of all time. I've played through it so many times. I think you'll really enjoy it. There's also a modding community if you'd like to tweak somethings. There's a handful of great mods, such as a lore-friendly overhaul that improves many of the settings and NPCs.

Dragon Age:Origins is one of the best game I ever played (maybe not combat, but the story is so great). I didn't like the expansion and Dragon Age 2 was one of the worst game I ever played, so I'm not sure what to expect of Dragon Age 3.

But that said, it is not a Bioware forums, so I'll get back on topic:

I love ESO

I feel like the only person ever who liked DA2. Sure it wasn't as good as its predecessor, but still great in its own right. It may not live up to origins but I love it.

Yes i'm very excited for this game. The only other games i'm excited for are Watch Dogs (i've bought the DedSec collector's edition) and Elite: Dangerous (£200 'Founder' backer on Kickstarter) but mainly as the original Elite game was first launched thirty years ago in 1984 and occupied ALL of my time for months and months and months back then. The same guy who created the original is behind this new version and I can't wait! I'm looking forward to Elite probably even more so than TESO to be honest.

Before these, I think the last game that I was excited about was the European launch of WoW. I had played in the closed beta and on the US servers since the year before but this was the Euro version which meant my friends could join me.

Funny thing about Wildstar - I can watch vids of ESO pvp for hours but pvp vids of Wildstar on youtube are just soooo BORING! I'm not seeing myself playing WS for long and not because I'm some TES really devoted fan, I don't really give a crap about the TES universe.

I was most excited for SWTOR. Since I am a huge Star Wars nerd and I also read ll the books, I was looking forward to that game for literally two years. Unfortunately, about two months after launch something happened to me personally and I wasn't able to play for a year (no, I didn't go to jail), so when I was able to start playing again, it was like all the air had gone out of the game. I still play it but its lost its special feel for me.

That said, I am looking forward to this game. I am just not letting myself get psyched up for it as much, even though Ive played it and know I will like it.
