Then remove mark and recall a spell like that broke the game for me that if I have a high mysticism skill I could travel instantly from place to place with ease.

i think they should make mark and recall powers only able to be cast once a day each.

Spell scrolls, no.

But there should be enchanted artifacts that use charges and work like spell scrolls. It would allow non magical characters to use certain magical effects, but only by paying a lot for the artifacts and paying to keep them charged.

Sono scrolls, but a permanent re-chargable unlock (hard) device?... We'll that kinda would make spellcasting (and lock picking) obsolete.

To tell you the truth, i've never acually used a spell scroll to my advantage. once i think on morrowin when a bantit had me practicly dead (this is bloodmood btw) so i used water walk spell scroll and walked back to the mainland. But I never really pick them up besides for duping. I voted yes just because of that one time. :celebration:

Re: the political argument against spell scrolls. I don't think the guild really cares whether other people actually execute magic effects, so long as they do it in a way controlled by and profitable for the guild. I can't see any reason to distinguish between a one-use scroll and a potion. I imagine that, aside from battlemages, most spellcasters would prefer to provide the means to let adventurous types deploy magic in a risky environment while they sit in their warm, safe office; rather than getting dragged deep into a monster-infested deathtrap. Fighters and thieves don't have the option to deploy their skills remotely, otherwise I imagine quite a few would take it too.

I hated how non Magic characters where at a disadvantage because they had no access to levitation or mark or recall spell, Heck in elder scrolls daggerfall Mark//recall practically required or you will never get any quest done, A lot of people are complaining about spell scrolls are a unfair way non magic characters can use magic but come on magic elder scrolls is Broken spell scrolls will give non spell oriented characters a way to fast travel or a way to be enemies that are not effected by their gear and stealth characters invisibility which they will need to complete quest that sneaking alone won't get them through like the dark brotherhood quest where you were sent out to kill valen dreath believe me sneaking wont help you past those guards, so I just want to see the members opinion about spell scrolls.

Fortify Sneak 8pts
Fortify Illusion 8pts
Fortify Marksman 8pts
Fortify Blade 8pts
Fortify Acrobatics 8pts

Those are the skills on the shrouded armor (DB joining gift). It is safe to assume that these are the Brotherhood's expected skill set. If you can't complete one of their quests without one of their essential skills then it is not the game's fault. Playing stealth is not easy, and it should not be. I used Illusion to get past the guards, but then I decided to go back and try sneaking. It worked fine. Most likely you just didn't give them enough time to move out of your way. At the top of the ladder the two talk there for a good 30 seconds before going to their posts.

P.S. The patrolling guards are super easy to get by. I probably didn't even need to sneak at all on them.

A little off topic but I was able to sneak through that with sneak at 52, the trick for that place with the small corridor where being discovered seems inevitable is to summon a creature as far away from you as possible but still in the guards line of sight use the creature as a distraction, while those dudes are taking it out on each other just walk through the corridor and your pretty much good to go :D

Sorry for the off topicness couldn't resist :P
