I nominate myself, from a strictly egotistical point of view, that for my consideration of my content my topics have been highlighted on the front page, i would say months on end now. Something I do regularly check the forums to see.

I do not contest more popular. I do not challenge more popular.

The point is to clarify your reason. It is a way we can identify with one another by our own independent reasoning. Its not "truly a popularity contest" it is merely an oppurtunity for us to drum up interaction of ourselves, to one another.
