dude i dunno, if you consider 12/21/12 as the beginning of the end of the world rather than a clearcut apocalypse it's pretty legit. 2013 was the worst [censored] year i've ever lived through. tons of really cool people died and all sorts of terrible [censored] happened, and that's still going right now with no end in sight.

i'm much more partial to mesoamerican mythology than norse mythology so i'm not really feeling the whole ragnarok thing.
