You did. It was from addons which won't ever be the default UI, thankfully (since aside from being ugly as hell, it's also useless due to ESO not being WoW).

These people really are crawling out of the woodwork. It's funny.
My guess: theorycrafters will figure out optimal builds in 2-3 weeks. Then cookie cutter builds will dominate until ZOS responds with nerfs to mess with the formulas. Then it's back to figuring out the optimal builds. Followed by more rebalancing. Neverending war of dueling spreadsheets.
I'd prefer TESO first, MMO seocnd, but it appears around the other way.
If you leave back to WoW in 2-3 weeks, we'll all be better off. Same with the rest of the faceroller crowd that just want to show off their internet ego points.
This game has a lot of TES feel to it in the environments, creatures, quest style, music, and other things.
But this game is clearly MMO 1st..
They obviously have a diffirent opinion what makes a TES game than I.
Fine, it's a good sory driven MMO they've created but it's only TES in lore with 1st person as an afterthought and hardly any exploration what so ever even compared to other MMO's, hell even WoW is more open ended compared to what i played.
this idea that the elder scrolls is only about freedom is odd to me, the elder scrolls is about the lore far more than the freedom. the freedom is really just an illusion anyway. go north south east or west and you fight the same thing. there is far more to being an elder scrolls game than being able to walk where you want. the stuff like being able to kill and rob npc's is something they clearly had to make more mmo like. if we were allowed to kill npc's people would rage as they would not be allowed to finish quests because all the damn npc's would be dead. the game is more mmo than tes but there is plenty of tes in eso
My guess is the hardcoe PvP crowd will make up most of the long term subscribers. Spreadsheet warriors and facerollers included. Having them leave.. would be very bad for longevity.
Well the freedom is what defines the series for me and none of them have ever been about story(which is the exact opposite of the focus of this game) and each and everyone of them has that "here's a big ass world for you to explore, go nuts" that this game just dosen't have, atleast for the first 15 levels.
Maby it's just a playstyle thing but it's not so much of just killing whomever i please but a world to explore and i'm free to do so as i like.
I mean first time i played Morrowind i created a Khajiit, and when i discovered slaves outside Seyda Neen i ran around resquing slaves and robbing plantations instead of heading to Casius. And i was lvl25 before i made it to High Hrothgar in Skyrim beacuse i met a guy named Sam on my way there in Windhelm.
Wouldn't dream about this kind of freedom in a themepark MMO but i was hoping the game would have exploration and random dungeons(yeah i'm aware of the public dungeons, blech) as an integral part of the game rather than the quest ping pong that's so common in MMO's.
I guess we will have to hope that Cyrodil can hold their interest. No Deathmatch or structured PvP means competitive PvPers will probably choose a different game to play.
And how many million MMO players? Across all MMOs? More than 20 million Some numbers, though we don't know how many folks are counted more than once: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_massively_multiplayer_online_role-playing_games
Including, of course, very large numbers who play both MMOs and TES.
I'm not saying the majority AREN'T TES fans, btw. I just don't think any of us can know that, one way or the other. It's like the first question on all the post-beta surveys I've taken, though, so SOMEBODY has some numbers... just not you or me
if this games pvp can beat what daoc had they need not worry.
I think it all boils down to personal point of view and spiritual awareness.
this is exactly how i feel. i felt like i was back in the world of elder scrolls. it felt right. putting a pot on some guys head then robbing him does not = elder scrolls to me lol
