I really don't think you're paying attention to what we're saying. I am providing very good reasoning for why this kind of thinking you're using just simply does not apply to ESO. How can it ruin the game? Please explain that, because it's just not logical to think that instanced PvP is going to somehow detract from Cyrodil unless it is implemented TERRIBLY (eg. giving arena players better rewards at a faster rate than world PvP players could be disastrous). But from the general design of the world PvP so far as I've seen while playing Beta and since the NDA drop, I would trust the developers to have a little more common sense than that. At least give them some credit for their intelligence, please.

You are aware that the FIRST Elder Scrolls game was called ARENA right? The arena has been a staple of TES games for awhile now, I mean did you just not play Oblivion at all? Your attempts at insulting "all the arena people" are pathetically ignorant kid. Of COURSE I have played good world PvP, there have been times in WoW, Guild Wars 2 and especially Warhammer Online back in the day where I was floored by it's potential and I am even more impressed by the ESO beta thus far, but that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CONVERSATION. Why do you assume that world PvP MUST replace small scale balanced style team-based competitions? Our whole point here is that they can very easily co-exist. Ultimately I want the developer to make the game that they want to make, because that's just how art works sometimes, if you try to be a crowd pleaser you make garbage, labors of love tend to form some of the best projects. But the developers have already hinted at the possibility of the arena (although they sounded very on the fence about it) in a future update when the Imperial City opens up. My concern is that this blind hatred for a system that you don't even have to use is going to sway the developer's opinion away from including it. I seriously doubt that unless they implemented it in a really stupid way that you would actually QUIT the game just for arena being brought in. But people are actually making threats like that. I just want you to realize how absolutely ridiculous and irrational you sound, and for people to stop making empty threats, or judging the quality of the game based on a feature that they don't even plan to use.

I'm not trying to convince you to enjoy arena, just as you do not need to convince me to enjoy world PvP. I just want you to stop shouting about nothing aimlessly.
