Unexplained health penalty?

Post » Sun Feb 23, 2014 1:03 pm

Not sure when or how this happened, but for some reason my health is being displayed in red instead of green and appears lower than before... Under skills/powers I am not under any negative effects or diseases and can't see anything that shows it reducing my health. I run Frostfall but I am warm and dry currently, I am well rested... I do use cannablism from time to time, would this be a consequence of that? Any ideas? It's not even a round number. My base health is like 207. I use dynamic loot as well which has enchantment that boost HP % in some cases... But it's very perplexing.

Ok, what the hell this seems to be accumulating overtime, my base health being further reduced and still highlighted in red... not cool! My only current guess is some weird side effect of dynamic loot + HP % enchantment, Frostfall "cold penalty" and/or canablism or vampirism.. at any rate my character seems to be losing maximum health over time! any way I can fix this or custom my hp value back to normal?

Is there a way to post my mod load order without running BOSS? BOSS 2.0 master list is out of date and I have to manually re-order a bunch of mods everytime I run it to get my mod load list?

If you use Wrye Bash you can right click on the mods and choose "list mods"

If you use NMM or Mod Organiser I think I have seen those having some kind of similar facility

If none of the above, go into ..

C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Skyrim\loadorder.txt

Copy them from there ( its the same file BOSS / Wrye Bash / NMM / Skyrim Launcher uses )

Note : If you cannot see that AppData folder, windows by default hides it, you can change that in Control Panel ( Classic View ) - Folder Options / View Tab / Show hidden files and folders ..

I'll post the load list later today. I was able to correct my health manually with the console command and get my health back to "green" values and add up my total level x skill points to where it should be... I had lost a total of 47hp from this bug or conflict. I'd caution anyone to pay attention to this in case the same thing happens. As I said my best guess at this point would be dynamic loot +HP % enchantment, as I had been wearing boots that gave me +10% HP from a long time and use both Frostfall and cannablism that can modify your max health... I suspect that anything that increases or lowers your base health temporarily may conflict with this % enchantment... Again I'm not sure if that was the cause but I have unequipped the boots and will keep an eye on my health to see if it happens again.
