Environment dictates human behavior, but I agree with the generous use of /ignore.

And thus if the social environment is corrupted and overwhelmed with the importance of these addons it will ruin the game all together for some.
I am convinced these tools cause antisocial behavior
Why do people still get upset over this? It's not really offering any game-breaking advantages that a smart player couldn't figure out himself... It just makes things easier to keep track of for a player.
If you don't like them, don't use them. Leave the people who like them alone.
As long as they leave me alone and don't ruin the game for me..I look at you wow where it happened constantly..
Always the whine about someone else doing not enough damage in the party
Just enjoy the game already..
Although I was a healer and found parties easily again..it was not fun to end up with such whiny groups 8 out of the 10 times..
Infact it is one of the main reasons I unsubbed
How about you just judge users on their behavior and not what mods they use?
Aren't you doing the same thing you're accusing mod users of doing- judging people by what mods they use/don't use?
You're afraid of playing with these people because they will use their mods to see your damage and give you problems for it. But you don't want to group with them at all, giving them no opportunity to show you that not everyone who uses mods plays that way.
Hypocrite much?
This will always happen in MMOs. You'll always find those elitist [censored]s. Can't really do anything about it though.
Either way, in ESO it's less about DPS and more about CC/healing/dodging than anything. People complaining about other people having low DPS in this game shouldn't be playing it.
Mission statement now listed in OP: give the hardcoe players their data/meters, and give the purists their opt-out option when grouping. This would be a fair compromise that would cater to both parties.
So quickly to judge me now..I play the game for the fun of it..In my opinion people nitpicking over dmg and stuff using these addons, do not know to enjoy the game propperly,my way.
thats why I do not wanna have to deal with them all together
So now if you use mods you're automatically generalized as "hardcoe"? And I'm going to not be allowed to group with others because I want to know how damage I'm doing? Or when I need to renew my buffs?
I find that a bit insulting, to be honest.
if it is for you personal whatever..but numbers of other players are not for any player to see ;fairness..
Calm down, the labels are for satire. There will still be plenty of groups that will want you. This just gives the players who want a no-mod experience that option without feeling like they're hurting their group.
