I'm just walking around........

Post » Sun Feb 23, 2014 10:25 pm

I have the game for XBox 360. I seem to be just walking around; no random encounters, can't seem to find ruins, towers, quests, etc. They are on the map but when I move toward them I must be missing them. Also travel seems to be very sluggish. I've read the game manual and I can't see that I'm doing anything wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The 3D map is in no way shape a helpful tool. My suggestion just run into the direction you think they are and you'll fine them. Follow your compass.

Don't knock walking about Harry. My Grandma came in once when I was walking through The Rift. She thought it was real, and when I told her it was a game, she said that it was astonishing and like 'walking into a painting.'

She put it perfectly. Skyrim is a world just as much as it is a game.

Many locations are significantly higher or lower in elevation than your nearby location, meaning that the way to find them may involve an out-of-the-way trip on a quasi-visible trail. Look for cairns on the side of the main road, many side trails are so marked.

And it's simply beautiful vanilla. Of course PC users can make it better, though but vanilla is great

I agree. I play on PC but I use only one graphics-enhancing mod. It's a small mod that removes de-saturation. Aside from that my graphics are vanilla. I think they're great.

I'm using a few but they kind of make Skyrim run like crap for me, haha. I'm seriously considering doing a little spring cleaning in my mod list and only keep bare necessities.. Not playing Skyrim so much though, playing BF4.
