A few questions i've been unable to find the answers to

Post » Mon Feb 24, 2014 12:11 am

Just wondering if anybody has knowledge of the following

A.) What is/are/am the Undaunted?

B.) Will there be spells outside of your class/guild/staff skills?

C.) Are staves one or two handed?, can they be wielded alongside shields or weapons?

D.) Will there be crossbows or spears?

E.) Are there any plans for a call that directly helps archery, the way there are many that directly help Destruction, one handed, or two handed?

F.)If i don't purchase the imperial edition, will i get a chance to obtain the imperial race later on?

G.) Can I be in multiple NPC guilds (Fighter/mage/ect) at once?

H.) When will the new guilds be released (Brotherhood/theif)?

1. Dungeon exploresrs guild .

2.Do you mean if there will be spells like in Skyrim/Oblivion ? From what I know no , all skills are tied to either class , guilds, or Weapones.

3.I belive they are two handed but I may be wrong.

4. No spears but Templar have "spear inspired" skill , but no material spears as a weapon at least for now. Same goes with Crossbows no crossbows as a weapon but Fighters guild has a spear as part of their skill line.

5. Who knows.

6.Most likely not , but who knows what will time tell.

7. Yes

8.Again , who knows, I would say in one of the earlier updates.

Actually yes, we'll be able to upgrade to Imperial Edition after launch. But without purchasing IE now or later, right now there is no way to play as an Imperial.

Not all information is released and much of it wont be until the release. What we know in beta is not always what will be in the release version.

Guilds are pretty much set, other npc guilds will be added after release (that we know of)

Imperials you can, as mentioned upgrade before and after launch of the game. Is it possible to unlock Imperials in game after launch? unknown at this time.

ZeniMax locks out most content for beta since it is the game mechanics that is being tested. You only need a few quests to know if your quest system works or not. You only need a few weapons to know if your weapon system works or not. You only need a few spells to know if that system works or not. And so on and so forth. Most content is for players to discover after the game launches (with exception for early release).

A.) The Undaunted are a guild, like the mage and fighter guilds. Joining them gives access to a unique skill line.

B.) Each armor type has its own skill line and there are also 3 World skill lines: Soul Magic, Werewolf and Vampire. Refer to www.esohead.com for more info.

C.) 2 handed

D.) No crossbows or spears

E.) I don't understand what you are asking here

F.) You can upgrade to the imperial edition after launch to gain access to the imperial race

G.) Yes, you can join all of them at the same time (Fighter, Mage and Undaunted are the only 3 currently)

H.) No clue. Some time after launch is all we know.

F. No you can't get Imperial race for free in game if you haven't bought Imperial edition or if you haven't upgraded from standard to Imperial edition, and I hope it stays this way. It is being sold as an exclusive. If they will plan to give it away for free later I will want my money back. You also could not play Imperial race in the beta after pre-orders have been opened, but Imperial horse was available in last beta to people who pre-ordered Imperial edition.

G. Yes, up to 5 guilds at the same time. There were only 3 in the beta at this moment, but there will be more later. When? Nobody knows this.
