PvE Zone and Quest Progression

Post » Sun Feb 23, 2014 9:59 pm

Here is some information I gleaned from http://esohead.com/quests regarding zone and level progression.

Everyone starts at The Wailing Prison. From there:

AD:

Spoiler

Khenarthi's Roost (level 2-5 quests)

Auridon (level 5-15 quests)

Grahtwood (level 16-23 quests with a single level 24 quest)

Greenshade (level 24-31 quests with a single level 32 quest)

Malabal Tor (level 32-level 37 quests)

Reaper's March (level 37-43 quests)

DC:

Spoiler

Stros M'Kai (level 2 quests with a single level 3 quest)

Betnikh (level 3-4 quests with a single level 5 quest)

Glenumbra (level 5-15 quests)

Stormhaven (level 16-23 quests)

Rivenspire (level 24-30 quests)

Alik'r Desert (level 31-37 quests)

Bangkorai (level 37-42 quests)

EP:

Spoiler

Bleakrock Isle (level 2-3 quests)

Bal Foyen (level 4 quests)

Stonefalls (level 5-15 quests)

Deshaan (level 15-24 quests)

Shadowfen (level 24-31 quests)

Eastmarch (level 31-37 with a single level 38 quest)

The Rift (level 38-43 quests)

After those zones are cleared:

Spoiler
Everyone heads to Coldharbour for the same level 44-50 quests. No level 43 quests were listed for DC. Also, for some reason EP had almost 40 more quests than DC which had almost 60 more quests than AD. I am guessing that the EP quests are shorter and more compact than the DC quests which are shorter than the AD quests. Or ESOHead still has some additional quests to add for both DC and AD.

Of course, the Cyrodiil quests can be completed at any time once the player reaches level 10. All of the Cyrodiil quests are level 50 quests.

Lastly, ESO also lists a zone

Spoiler
named Craglorn with about a dozen level 50 quests. I have no idea what this zone is; but my first guess is that it was an early proof of concept zone that has since been removed from the game. If anyone knows anything about this zone, please speak up.

Craglorn looks like an adventure zone to me.

You could definitely be right about that. The map for the zone looks different than the other maps which raised questions for me.
