I figured Bosmer would be best for an archer, but now I've read Khajit might be better. The racial skills being the factor, since any race can master any weapon ??, the racial bonus for Bosmer getting 15% faster skill increase to archery would certainly get you to master quicker, but Khajit get a 5% crit damage bonus (I've heard this includes bows) ?? Khajit get 5% health regen vs Bosmer 3% stamina regen. Give me your insights please, thanks

I feel like Khajiit have the strongest baseline racials for a melee Nightblade. Bosmer obviously have bonuses for archery skills. But to be perfectly honest. Racials play such a minor role that there's not going to be any major effects seen in gameplay. The only thing the racials are going to do is allow you to hit soft/hard caps with possibly 1 less enchant or piece of gear than other players.

Dunmer with their dual-wielding racial skill would probably be the best melee nightblades? Bosmer are AFAIK the only to have a bonus to archery, so probably the best choice

Beyond the racial skills, each race also has a racial skill line that you can put points into. I believe Bosmer has bow related skills. I do not know what Khajit race skill line is. Neither of the two skill calculators I use show this racial line. Unless I am mistaken, but I played a Bosmer archer up to like level 14. I am pretty sure there were other skills besides the racial bonuses that stay static as you level.
